No place to go

I no it sounds cliche, but come on you must know what it's like these days. I find as a teenager, as a 'young person' there is no where to go and hang out. Where ever you go peple are trying to move you on, or moaning at you. If you go to a cafe they want you gone because you take up space, if you were to hang out on the streets people moan. So what is the only option left? To hang out at home but then you either have parents moaning/yelling at you or people maon about 'the youth of today spending to much time on violent/inappropriate video games and internet chat rooms.' Well I'm sorry but what do these 'grown ups' suggest we do? Were they not once young themselves, I mean life is for living people. Maybe the real issuse here is peoples priorities. Nearly everyone seems to be obsessed with 'good grades and hard work so you can amke lots of money.' I will not disagree that money is pleasant as it allows you to buy things which bring you pleasure, but have we disregarded the simpler pleasures, like watching the sun rise, walking on the beach, being with people we love. People seem to be in constant material competition and with the amount of marriage break ups increasing are people trying to move to fast? Obsessed with the need to always be better than John/Jane next door?

(please not that John and Jane are fictional characters used to illustrate a point. )
